A Teaser and a Reveal
You're reading 20th Century Refugee, the newsletter of author Glen Cadigan. I made a promise a while back -- even if it was just to myself -- to only put out this newsletter when I had something to reveal (or promote), which means one of two things is about to happen.
Cover Reveal
These days, everyone is announcing new projects. From Comic-Con International in San Diego to the more recent D23 get together in Anaheim, movies, tv shows, comic books, etc., have been given their time in the spotlight lately, leaving books to fend for themselves. And the book world is a competitive battlefield, so promotion starts early. How early? Is over half a year in advance too early for you?
I came home from a trip a little while ago to find these waiting for me in the mailbox. It's my first novel, and its pub date is March 25, 2025. Here's the back cover copy:
"One year after a woman disappears, a group of college students attempts to make a movie about a local legend called The Strawman. What do they find, and what finds them?"
The Strawman is classified as Mystery/Thriller, with Horror elements. For now, you get the front cover and a teaser. As we get closer to its publication date, more will be revealed.
